Want to know about cheap weekend breaks?

Cheap Weekend Breaks - When one of my friends suggested that we take a cheap weekend break, I was skeptical. We always had last minute weekend plans, and this was no difference. It turned out that we both had a four-day weekend at the same time, although we did not know ahead of time. Cheap weekend breaks seemed like the thing to do, but where could we go‌ In Michigan in the middle of the winter, there is to simply not that much to do on the weekend. It was quite cold enough to go skiing, but there wasn’t any snow. We could have driven down south for awhile and hung out in South Carolina, but my brake rotor pads were going and I didn’t have time to replace them before we left. Last minute airline tickets were out of the question, or so I thought. There was no way that you could get cheap airline tickets at the last minute!

In retrospect, it is odd to me that I never bothered to verify this theory. You see, discount airline tickets are the linchpin of cheap weekend breaks. Everyone knows that in the off-season you can get cheap hotels on the beach. The most beautiful locations in the country still have no one traveling to them in the middle of winter! Still, how are you going to get there‌ I wasn’t willing to throw away 400 dollars on a ticket for a four-day trip. When my friend told me that I could get cheap last-minute tickets, I was pretty skeptical, but we gave it a shot. It turns out he was right.

We actually had a variety of possible destinations open to us for cheap weekend breaks. We ended up choosing South Carolina after all, flying into the airport that very evening. Cheap weekend breaks that start with about 14 hours of driving and no fun, so we thought it would make more sense to just fly out there anyway. We got down to Charleston, checked into a hotel, and immediately went down to the beach. It was wonderful! There is nothing better than suddenly finding yourself on the warm, sandy beach when you had been In freezing cold Michigan weather. Although we did not do very much, just sitting on the beach, having a few drinks, and going out to a club or two was quite enough to refresh us. Cheap weekend breaks are fantastic!
