When I first heard of the term called blog then somewhere in the mid 90's, I was perplexed about how so I could not come to know about this word beforehand, having been involved in the English language for more than four decades! Certainely, I find out in my 6 copies of dictionaries in cupboard to find meaning but I did not find one. As there is not anything called blog in English language.

Ultimately my search concluded at Oxford dictionary of Modern Slang. It says "blog post is a noun: The Internet site containing an eclectic & consistently updated variety of items of matter to its writer." Not happy with this half-informative and vague definition, I looked into the Interweb to do extra "research".

To my surprise! I have received few more appropriate explanations. Certain right ones are:

* Weblog & blog are synonymous. A blog is a newsarticles that is constantly updated and intended for public consumption. Blogs generally reflect the personality of the writer or the Website.

* A blog post is none other than an online journal. One who keeps the blog is called blogger & the entire activity of typewriting and updating the blog is called blogging. The Blogs are regularly edited daily utilizing program that allows public With little bit or no professional experience to update and maintain the blog post.

* Weblog is a sort of exclusives that publishes instantly to a web site. Blog writing provides someone to mechanically insert info to the Site. A blogger site gets the information first. Finally the blog is instantly infused into a template tailored for your Web site.
